Le Corbusier LC10 Square 27" Glass Top Coffee Table

Le Corbusier was born in Switzerland in 1887.  His work as an architect, artist, designer, and urban planner had extreme influence throughout Europe and America during the mid-20th century.  His vision as the head of the Modern Movement drove the exploration of new architectural and design possibilities.

The furniture that Le Corbusier designed, primarily in the 1920s, was groundbreaking for the time.  This period can be characterized by a high amount of experimentation, especially with tubular steel.  From this material, Le Corbusier designed timeless lounge chairs, stools, and tables that are still popular and manufactured nearly 100 years after their inception.

The LC10 coffee table, along with other Le Corbusier-designed furniture, uses highly rectilinear features combined with the highly durable materials of steel and glass.  Each piece was designed for the masses and made to last for years and years.

Today these pieces continue in their popularity.  Le Corbusier’s tables are used in a variety of environments from residential to commercial settings.  This particular table has been reproduced by Italian craftsmen assuring that you are receiving a high-quality example of this master’s work.
